The 2025-2026 PTA Reflections Art Program invites students from all grades to explore their creativity under this year's powerful theme: “I Belong!” This theme provides an opportunity for students to express, through art, what belonging means to them, whether it’s feeling connected to family, friends, school, or the world around them. Every student has a unique perspective, and this theme encourages them to share their voice and creativity while celebrating the importance of community and inclusion.

What is the PTA Reflections Art Program?

The PTA Reflections Art Program is a national contest that has been inspiring students for over 50 years to express their creativity and showcase their talents. Students from Pre-K through 12th grade can submit original works of art in several categories: visual arts, photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and film production.

How to Get Involved

Participating in the 2025-2026 PTA Reflections Art Program is simple and rewarding. Here’s how your child can take part:

  • Choose a Category: Your child can enter in one or more of the six available categories: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, or Film Production.

  • Create Original Work: Encourage your child to create an original piece based on the theme “I Belong!”

  • Submit the Work

  • Celebrate Their Achievement: Whether or not your child wins an award, take the time to celebrate their creativity and courage in sharing their art with others.

Final Thoughts

The 2025-2026 PTA Reflections Art Program is more than just a competition; it’s an opportunity for your child to embrace their uniqueness and explore the beauty in imperfections. By participating, children can build confidence, develop valuable skills, and experience the joy of artistic expression. Encourage your child to take part in this year’s program and witness the incredible art they create, imperfections and all.
